This is why Aditya Roy Kapur felt like a boss on the set of Malang
Aditya Roy Kapur, who has so far entertained us with films like Action Replayy, Guzaarish, Aashiqui 2, Daawat-e-Ishq, Fitoor and Kalank has something different in store for us this time around. He will be seen playing a rather ruthless character in Malang. Interestingly, Aditya has gone through a major physical transformation, bulking up his body to suit the intense character he plays in the Mohit Suri directorial, Malang, which is of a murderer. Aditya not just enjoyed playing the part but it also made him feel strong on set. Talking about the same, Aditya said, “I have a lot of action in the film. Therefore, I was on a strict diet and was looking sturdy and muscular. It made me feel really strong. I was walking like a boss on the sets. It was so much fun. You know, you go home feeling strong with all that I you do for such a film. "

Trump's impeachment trial might not wrap up today after all
Thought President Trump's impeachment trial was hours away from wrapping up? Think again. The Senate on Friday morning seemed headed toward acquitting Trump as soon as this evening, but The Washington Post is now reporting the impeachment trial is looking like it might actually last into next week, possibly not ending until as late as next Wednesday. According to the Post, the Senate may "take up a new procedural resolution laying out rules for the trial's endgame — which could include time for closing arguments, private deliberations and public speeches by senators." If the trial ends up lasting until Wednesday, this would mean Trump would have not yet been acquitted by the time he delivers his State of the Union address, which is scheduled for Tuesday. It also means the trial wouldn't be over in time for Monday's Iowa caucuses, much to the chagrin of Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), and Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.). Politico's Jake Sherman is reporting the same, writing that the trial going…

An ode to Bollywood's yesteryear superstar Babita Kapoor
In a career of about five years, she featured in around 19 films, most of them being hits. No pretence of histrionics nor conforming to the teary stereotype of her predecessors and peers, Babita was plain glamour. Amidst voluptuous heroines, she cut a slim silhouette. Hugging churidar kurtas, happy hoops and go-go glasses became her logo. Bell-sleeves, jumpers, polka prints, ribbons, bows, pastel lip-colour… her teen experiments influenced campus fashion. “I was a flower pot, who was paid in lakhs,” Babita once admitted with candour. That’s why she’s a path-maker… When her marriage with Randhir Kapoor hit foggy weather, she bravely piloted out of it with her daughters. Divorce was never an option for her. Randhir and she may have stopped living together but never stopped caring for each other. With a five-decade old relationship behind them, they continue being friends. Babita sanely chose the middle path. That’s why she’s a path-finder. A Kapoor daughter could be the pride of a home, not of the marquee. Babita…

Oh Boy, Elon Musk Made An EDM Song Called “Don’t Doubt Ur Vibe”
We, as a culture, have made the terrible decision to deify ruthless capitalist weirdo businessmen, and we get what we deserve. In this case, what we deserve is an EDM track called "Don't Doubt Ur Vibe," made by a car executive who seems to be going through a deep and profound midlife crisis. This morning, Tesla CEO and elaborate Grimes accessory Elon Musk was dropped his new banger "Don't Doubt Ur Vibe" on the SoundCloud page of his own Emo G Records. This is the second Emo G recording; the first was a 2019 Auto-Tuned rap named "RIP Harambe." "Don't Doubt Ur Vibe" definitely sounds like a song that a 48-year-old billionaire might make if he was dating Grimes. On Twitter, Musk has shared some truly ghastly photos of himself in the studio and claimed that he "wrote the lyrics & performed the vocals" himself. Those lyrics are: "Don't doubt your vibe/ Because it's true/ Don't doubt your vibe/ Because it's you." He wrote that himself! The cover art is a Tesla Cybertruk orbiting Mars. Take a

No one likes taxes, but we also can’t have schools that are not safe. I’ve toured the current Post Middle School and I can certainly understand the conclusion that the cost of bringing it up to safety standards, including seismic codes, would be more or as much as the cost of building a new school. This was the same conclusion that was reached when the time came to do something with Presidents Elementary. It was a good decision then to replace Presidents Elementary and it is a good decision now to replace Post Middle School.
